Located on the top floor in the Library, the UCCS Archives serves to collect and manage UCCS information.
The Library of the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs is charged with identifying, collecting, organizing and preserving UCCS materials and with facilitating their use for purposes of research and scholarly pursuits. The UCCS Archives, according to our statement of purpose, "functions as the custodian of UCCS institutional records. It preserves and protects in a secure environment the original materials and records which document the activities, social traditions and administrative functions of the University. It serves as a primary source of information on UCCS history and development."
UCCS Archives is open Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm, or by appointment. To make an appointment, contact Mary Rupp, Archives Librarian.
Donations to the UCCS Archives is greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate any item to the UCCS Archives, please read the Archives Collection Development Policy.
The UCCS Archives is organized very differently from the rest of the Library's collection. For more information see the guide to Structure of the Record Groups or Ask Us.
