This is a broad survey course in the biological basis of behavior. Anatomy, physiology and chemistry of the nervous system (with special emphasis on the brain), endocrinology, and genetics are discussed as they apply to the study of behavior. Prerequisite: PSY 100 or consent of instructor. Taught by Michael Kisley, Ph.D. of the UCCS Department of Psychology.
This Fall 2009 course begins August 24, 2009 and concludes on December 19, 2009. It is a semester-based online course, on the eCollege platform. As an online course, classes will be held via internet, not at a physical location.

The withdrawal deadline for this course is Friday, September 11, 2009. If you are withdrawing before this date, you may withdraw in your student account and receive a full tuition refund. If you are withdrawing after this date, you must contact LAS Extended Studies at 719/255-4071 or lases@uccs.edu to complete withdrawal paperwork; you will not receive a full tuition refund if you withdraw after this date.
