MATH 090-2 Fundamentals of Algebra A review of basic algebra and arithmetic, including algebra of polynomials, factorization of simple polynomials, arithmetic operations on fractions and rational expressions, laws of exponents, linear equations and inequalities in one variable, quadratic equations using factoring. SUMMER 2008 SCHEDULE FALL 2008 SCHEDULE Online registration opens for the Summer 2008 course on April 1, 2008, and for the Fall 2008 courses on May 5, 2008. The tuition for this course is $329. To register, review the Extended Studies enrollment instructions by clicking on the "Register" tab at left. IMPORTANT FINANCIAL AID INFORMATION Tuition for Summer 2008 Extended Studies courses is due by May 23, 2008; tuition for Fall 2008 Extended Studies courses is due by August 15, 2008. If you are registering after these respective dates, payment is due at time of registration. Make sure to wait for your balance to appear in your online account before you make your payment. You may pay via credit card in your student account or by Electronic Funds Transfer; if you are not able to make your payment by either of these methods, please contact Pamela Mead Krull in the Bursar's Office at 719/262-3391 to set up a payment by another method. Do not wait to receive a bill; you may be charged late fees. The withdrawal deadline for the Summer 2008 course is Friday, June 20, 2008; the withdrawal deadline for the Fall 2008 courses is Friday, September 19, 2008. If you are withdrawing before these dates, you may withdraw in your student account and receive a full tuition refund. If you are withdrawing after this date, you must contact LAS Extended Studies at 719/262-4071 or lases@uccs.edu to complete withdrawal paperwork; you will not receive a full tuition refund if you withdraw after this date.
