HIST 3370-3 Hitler and German National Socialism

An examination of the Nazi leader in terms of the historical situation in which he attained power, his historical significance generally and the policy of genocide for which he was responsible. Taught by Prof. Robert Sackett of the UCCS Department of History.

This course begins January 18, 2011 and concludes on May 14, 2011. The course earns 3 semester hours of undergraduate credit from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. The course is televised on Comcast Cable Channel 20 (UCCS channel) live on Mondays from 1:40 to 4:20pm. Course sessions are re-broadcast later the same day, and are then made available for check-out and viewing from the Kraemer Family Library on the UCCS campus. Course sessions may also be viewed via web stream on iTunesU. The tuition for this course is $650.

IMPORTANT FINANCIAL AID INFORMATION
For Spring 2011, the new UCCS registration system will make it more feasible for most students to use their financial aid to pay Extended Studies tuition. We still recommend that you contact a financial aid counselor before enrolling, to make sure this enrollment will not negatively affect your financial aid, full-time status, etc.

TUITION INFORMATION
Balances for Spring 2011 registrations will begin to post on January 5, 2011. Deadline to pay Spring 2011 tuition bills is February 2, 2011. Make sure to pay before this date, or you may incur late fees. You may pay via credit card in your student portal account or by Electronic Funds Transfer; students who are not able to make payment by either of these methods should contact the Campus-Wide Extended Studies Office at 719/255-3498 to set up a payment by another method. Do not wait to receive a bill; you may be charged late fees.

WITHDRAWAL INFORMATION
The withdrawal deadline for this Spring 2011 course is February 2, 2011. If you are withdrawing before this date, you may withdraw in your student portal account and receive a full tuition refund. If you are withdrawing after this date, you must contact LAS Extended Studies at 719/255-4071 or lases@uccs.edu to complete withdrawal paperwork; you will not receive a full tuition refund if you withdraw after this date.

Note to STUDENT SUCCESS: this course is open to all UCCS students without restriction.
