This correspondence/e-course provides an introduction to basic issues in clinical interviewing and to the current interviewing approaches of all the major types of mental disorders. This course is appropriate for undergraduates who are potentially interested in pursuing a career as a mental health professional, such as a psychologist, social worker, psychiatrist, substance abuse counselor, or marriage and family therapist.
