Topics include plant life cycles, systematics, life zones, and the use of field guides for identifying cyanobacteria, protists, bryophytes, seedless vascular plants, vascular plants, gymnosperms and angiosperms in Colorado foothills, Montane, subalpine and alpine life zones. Includes lecture and field study. Prer: BIOL 115, BIOL 116. Taught by Kathleen R. Malueg, Ph.D. of the UCCS Department of Biology.
This course begins July 13, 2009 and concludes on July 24, 2009. The course will meet on MWF 8:30 am-6:30 pm in the Science and Engineering Building, Room B-310.

The withdrawal deadline for this course is Friday, July 10, 2009. If you are withdrawing before this date, you may withdraw in your student account and receive a full tuition refund. If you are withdrawing after this date, you must contact LAS Extended Studies at 719/255-4071 or lases@uccs.edu to complete withdrawal paperwork; you will not receive a full tuition refund if you withdraw after this date.
