Regional Materials

Intent: Increase demand for building materials and products that are extracted and manufactured within the region, thereby supporting the use of indigenous resources and reducing environmental impacts resulting from transportation.

Action: By cost, 25% of the materials used throughout the project were from regional (local) sources. For example, 100% of the asphalt used in the parking lot was manufactured 40 miles from the site; 87% of the stucco was manufactured 60 miles from the site.
