Cultural geography
I study cultural landscapes, systems of meaning, and power relations. This often equates to the political economy of place.
Urban geography
My interests are in urban functions, urban landscapes, urban design, and measures of social equity.
Mexico
I am interested in all things about Mexico. My research has concentrated on U.S.-Mexico interactions, usually at the cultural and economic interface
GIS
I have taught GIS classes for years and frequently use these technologies for spatial analysis problem-solving.
