Performance Evaluation

Employee performance evaluation is the process of assessing and summarizing the work performance of an employee. Every classified employee must receive a written overall performance evaluation at least annually.

The evaluation is the culmination of a well thought out, documented, and understood performance plan. When done correctly, the evaluation provides a detailed and accurate picture of the employee's performance during the evaluation period. Supervisors and employees need to understand their respective roles and responsibilities in the process.
