UCCS Open Wireless Networking

The UCCS Open Wireless Network provides limited access for those computers that cannot support WPA. After connecting, you may need to configure a connection to the UCCS Virtual Private Networking.

  • Without VPN No encryption is provided. Any information transmitted could be captured. Limited connectivity to university resources.
  • With VPN Provides data encryption and allows connection to university resources, but limits connectivity to other resources. A link for configuring VPN follows the wireless instructions.
