UCCS Wireless Access for Linux (Ubuntu 8.04)

1. Click the networking device icon in the GNOME notification panel.

2. Select "UCCS-WPA".

3. For Wireless Security select "WPA2 Enterprise" if available, "WPA Enterprise" if not. For Identity enter your IT username and password. Click the Login to Network button. If WPA is not available, go to www.uccs.edu/helpdesk/wireless-open.htm for other options.

4. Read the EUA, check Accept, and click the Next button.

5. Enter your UCCS IT username and password as well as a contact phone number. Enter the current building and room number in the "Room Number" field. (If you don't know the room number, just enter the building. Click the Download button.

6. You will be directed to this website.

7. Disconnect from the UCCS-WPA and reconnect using steps 1-3.
