UCCS Wireless Access for iPhones with Virtual Private Networking (VPN)

1. Click on the "Settings" icon on the home screen.

2. Click on "Off" next to "Wi-Fi".

3. Turn on "Wi-Fi" on.

4. Connect to "UCCS-Visitor".

5. Go back to the home screen and open Safari.

6. Magnify the lower left hand side of the screen so you can type in your username/password. This is your username/password for UCCS. Then select "I agree".

7. If you have successfully entered in your information you should see the following screen.

To setup VPN:

8. Go back to your "Settings" icon on your home screen and select "General".

9. Open the "Network" option.

10. Click on "Not Configured" next to "VPN".

11. Click on "Add VPN Configuration".

12. Click on the "PPTP" tab and enter in the information above. For the "Description" field enter "UCCS Wireless VPN". For the "Server" field enter "vpn.wireless.uccs.edu" without the quotes. For the "Account" field, enter "ufp/username" without quotes. The username is your username. For example if your name is John Doe, you would enter "ufp/jdoe" without the quotes. For the "Password" field, this is your UCCS password. Press "Save" when you are finished.

13. Turn "VPN" on.

14. Exit out of the "Settings" screen.
