UCCS Wireless Access for Wireless Enabled Devices

Last Update: 8/04/09

The following wireless cards support the UCCS system.

  • Any Wi-Fi certified hardware after March 13, 2006
  • AirPort Extreme wireless network card

To search for your specific card, select the manufacturer below.

Wireless enabled devices such as: Windows Mobile 5,6,6.1 Smartphones and PDAs, MP3 players, Palm OS powered Smartphones and PDAs, Blackberries, gaming devices, etc. may access the UCCS-Visitor wireless network.

The UCCS-Visitor wireless network ONLY supports standard internet(HTTP) traffic however. Secure websites (HTTPS), FTP, VOIP, online gaming (Xbox Live, Playstation Network, etc.) are not accessible through the UCCS-Limited wireless network.

1. For specific instructions on configuring your wireless enabled device for wireless internet access, consult your device manual. Once you have configured your wireless device to connect to the UCCS-Visitor wireless network, open a browser window. You should see this screen.
