UCCS Wireless Access for Wireless Enabled Devices

Wireless enabled devices such as: Windows Mobile 5,6,6.1 Smartphones and PDAs, MP3 players, Palm OS powered Smartphones and PDAs, Blackberries, gaming devices, etc. may access the UCCS-Open wireless network.

The UCCS-Open wireless network ONLY supports standard internet(HTTP) traffic however. Secure websites (HTTPS), FTP, VOIP, online gaming (Xbox Live, Playstation Network, etc.) are not accessible through the UCCS-Open wireless network.

1. For specific instructions on configuring your wireless enabled device for wireless internet access, consult your device manual. Once you have configured your wireless device to connect to the UCCS-Open wireless network, open a browser window. You should see this screen.

2. Enter your username and password in the space provided and click"I agree". If successful you should see this window for 10 seconds and then it will return to your browser's home page.
