Library Database Access

  • UCCS pays for the use of the periodical databases and journal holdings on the Kraemer Family Library website. Under the license agreement, only UCCS students, staff, and faculty are allowed access. The restriction is enforced by requiring a UCCS login prior to access. After connecting to the network from a location on campus (including the dorms), you're allowed free access. However, from home it's necessary to log in with virtual private networking (VPN) to authenticate prior to accessing the databases. Click on the link below for instructions to configure VPN.
  • Once connected on campus or with VPN, open a web browser like Internet Explorer and go to web.uccs.edu/library. Click on "Periodical Database by Name of Subject" or "Print and Electronic Journal Holdings."
