Turning Off Microsoft FrontPage Extensions

  • FrontPage 2002
    • Click on the Tools menu and select Page Options.
    • Click the Compatibility tab.
    • Clear the Enabled with Microsoft FrontPage Server Extensions check box.
    • Click the OK button.
  • FrontPage 2003
    • Click on the Tools menu and select Page Options.
    • Click the Authoring tab.
    • Clear the Browse-time Web Components check box.
    • Click the OK button.
  • This won't work with older versions of FrontPage. You'll need to update your copy.
