Citrix to Access the CU Foundation

Install Citrix

1. Go to uccs.edu/helpdesk/dnsoftware.htm and click on Citrix. Click the Run button to start the installation wizard. Click Next.

2. At the Welcome screen, click Next.

3. At the Citrix License Agreement screen, click Yes.

4. If you get this screen, click the radio button beside Create a new installation in a separate location. Then click the Next button.

5. At the Choose Destination Location screen, the installation program will state that the ICA Client will be installed in the directory C:\Program Files\Citrix\ICA Client or C:\Program Files\Citrix\secure ICA Client. Click Next.

6. The Select Program Folder screen should show that the program will be installed to a folder the program automatically creates entitled Citrix ICA Client. Click Next.

7. At the ICA Client Name screen, you will be asked to enter a unique client name. This client name must be unique, otherwise it may cause conflicts with other ICA Clients of the same name. If you leave the default text in the box, this should result in an unique name. After entering the ICA ClientName, click Next.

8. At the Select Desired Features screen, you will be asked if you would like to save the username and password. Due to the security on this system, you will have to enter your username and password each time you log in. Select No and click Next.

9. Once the installation is complete, click OK. (This window may be hidden under another window.)

Configure for the CU Foundation

10. images-citrix/CUFoundationAcctg.ica
Right click on this link and click 'Save As...' Save it to your desktop. Change the 'Save as type' to say Citrix ICA Connection

11. On your Desktop, double click the CUFoundationAcctg.ica file you just downloaded. This will prepare a connection with the CU Foundation. If you see a dialog box similar to the one pictured above, just click OK.

12. Enter the Username and Password and click Login to access the CU Foundation.
