Monarch, Vail, Aspen, Breckenridge, Telluride, Keystone, and Steamboat all within walking distance! The 8 buildings that make up Summit Village Residence Halls are cleverly named after the world-famous ski resorts of Colorado. Around 600 freshmen make up Summit Village creating a close community with residents. Each residence hall has suite-styled rooms, which includes a bathroom and common living area for residents. Residents never have to worry about walking back from the community showers in a towel!

Freshmen Residency Requirement
Welcome to your new home, freshmen! Fall 2008 will be the first year that the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs requires all first year students to reside on campus. The University has done exhaustive research that resulted in the live on requirement. The research shows that students engaged in living in the residence halls have a greater opportunity for success academically, socially and feeling part of the UCCS Community.
