Information on UCCS One Card Program

The College of Engineering at UCCS is proud of its small-size and outstanding student-to-teacher ratio. In the 2007 college rankings edition of the US News & World Report, "America's Best Colleges," released Aug. 21, 2006 the magazine's editors ranked undergraduate engineering programs at UCCS seventh nationally among public universities that primarily offer bachelor's and master's degrees.

Construction is in progress for the new addition to the Engineering Building. The multi-million dollar project will allow for more classrooms, research space, and department offices. The new addition will be complete fall 2008. To watch the progress of this addition, please visit http://www.uccs.edu/~scieng/index.htm.

The College of Engineering now offers a Bachelors of Innovation. Like a Bachelor of Science (BS) or Bachelor of Arts (BA), the BI is not a single degree but a family of related majors. The BI has a major field of study, just like a BA or BS, but it also has a common core in innovation and entrepreneurship including a unique long-term, multi-disciplinary team experience. A survey of Colorado companies shows the BI students will have a significant advantage in the market. To learn more about this exciting new program visit their home page.
