RESEARCH INTERESTS:
Dr. Yochim conducts research on the relationships among depression,
cerebrovascular disease, cognitive functioning, and completion of
instrumental activities of daily living (IADL) in older adults. In
particular, he is interested in relationships between late-life depression
and executive functioning. He also conducts clinical research on the
neuropsychological assessment of older adults, particularly on the validity
of instruments used to diagnose dementia and on the improvement of
neuropsychological assessment techniques.
