EDUCATION: MSW, Rutgers University,1972. RESEARCH INTERESTS: I am not involved in formal university research efforts. I have previously involved undergraduate students in community-based surveys related to aging services and elder needs. ONGOING PROJECTS: Currently facilitating the "Professional Advancement Certificate in Gerontology," conduct the state approved/required "Personal Care Boarding Home Owner/ Operator" training, and develop modules on "Hastened Death Issues" and "Mental Health Interventions with the Elderly." I will be teaching the "Introduction to Gerontology" course GRNT 300 during spring semester, and have primary responsibility through the Center on Aging for identifying/ addressing the professional development needs of the long-term care aging network. NON-ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES: Increasing computer skills, bicycle riding, time with family, cheering for the Denver Broncos, maintaining personal autos. HOMETOWN: Ringwood, New Jersey.
