RESEARCH INTERESTS:

Marriage and family development in later life.
Family therapy with aging families.
Aging and mental health.

ONGOING PROJECTS:

Compliance with Evaluation Recommendations following Geriatric Assessment: Collaboratively with Dr. Daniel Segal, I have been working to develop a data archive from multidisciplinary evaluations of older adults at St. Francis Health Center. Currently we are examining predictors of mental health problems, and predictors of compliance with the multidisciplinary team's recommendations.

Children's attitudes toward older adults: The effects of intergenerational contact. This project is comparing attitudes toward aging between children who have been in an intergenerational child care center with those who are in more traditional care (collaborative with Dr. Sandy Wurtele).
