RESEARCH INTERESTS:

Philosophy of medicine and health care ethics.
Social and political philosophy, and modern classical philosophy.

ONGOING PROJECTS:

I am in the process of working on a sole-authored book entitled The Evolution of Disease: An Inquiry Concerning Knowing and Valuing.

I am working on a book, co-edited with Kurt Bayertz, entitled Philosophy of Medicine.

I am working, together with several other authors, on a high-school and college instructional manual entitled Genes, Environment, and Human Behavior.
