partner with us to meet the mission of promoting research, education and
community service related to aging.
Collaborative Partners
The
Palisades at Broadmoor Park has an extensive collaboration with UCCS to create
an innovative approach to senior housing that maximizes well-being of residents,
provides a learning ground from students, and enriches the community of Colorado

The Coleman Institute for Cognitive
Disabilities supports innovative research and services designed to address
age-related cognitive decline in persons with lifelong cognitive disabilities as
well as in those more cognitively able earlier in life.

As
the Community-Centered Board for this region, The Resource Exchange serves over individuals and families with intellectual or
developmental disability. TRE supports research and training for UCCS students
that benefits their clients and the community.
Co-located with the Gerontology Center,
the CU Aging Center is a mental health and family services center operated by the
Psychology Department at UCCS as the clinical training hub for
Geropsychology training.
The Colorado Springs Senior Center is a hub for recreational and learning
experiences for seniors in Colorado Springs. The Senior Center generously provides space for the
Professional Advancement Certificate
in Gerontology
program.
