The Department of Geography and Environmental Studies (GES) offers four academic tracks: Human and Cultural Dynamics, Physical Systems, Environmental and Sustainability Studies, and Geospatial / GIScience. GES offers minors in Geology and Sustainable Development. Our small class sizes provide a wealth of opportunities for student-faculty interaction. GES faculty provide theoretical as well as applied perspectives. We have excellent, energetic, award-winning faculty, and offer undergraduate (BA) and graduate (MA) degrees.
