What is a learning community?
A learning community is a group of students:
- who take a Freshman Seminar in conjunction with one to two other thematically linked courses.
- who experience learning together in a variety of ways including field trips and co-curricular activities that extend beyond the classroom.
- who establish a sense of belong and community on campus, which aids in smoothing the transition from high school to college.
