Do you dream of one day arguing before the Supreme Court? Have you watched
every episode of Law and Order twice? Can you handle the truth? "Trial and Error" will look closely at several famous (and infamous) legal trials from a variety of perspectives: historical, psychological, rhetorical, and theatrical. How do people behave in the courtroom, and how have trials changed over time? Can witnesses really remember their experiences accurately? Do jurors and judges reach decisions fairly? Gain tools for writing and analyzing legal arguments and relive historical debates in a classroom setting. In "Trial and Error," you will come to understand not only what happened, but what need not have happened.
- Meets Thursdays 10:50am - 1:30pm
