Colorado Living & Recreation

Pikes Peak, Red Rock Canyon, School in the Woods. What's your special place in Colorado Springs? This course will examine the relationship between self and the environment. How does the place we live affect us? What makes Colorado Springs a special place? How have people changed the environment of Colorado Springs? "Colorado Living & Recreation" will be organized around field trips and outdoor activies, including an overnight camping trip on August 21, 2008. Readings, discuss, and the presentation of a creative work will be used to generate deeper reflection about our place in Colorado and how we, and others, interact with it.

This class is part of a living-learning community!
