Financial Aid and Student Employment

Financial Aid Mission Statement

The mission of the Office of Financial Aid/Student Employment is to provide assistance to students who would be unable to attend the University without aid. Through the Office of Financial Aid/Student Employment and Scholarships, students may obtain financial aid, receive help to find academically relevant employment and/or assistance in obtaining institutional and private scholarships.

A college education is one of the most important investments that students and their families will make. It requires careful financial planning. While students and their families have the primary responsibility to pay for college, resources allow the Financial Aid Office to assist students to plan and finance these educational costs.

The Financial Aid Office makes every effort to ensure that students receive maximum consideration for all forms of aid. Requests always exceed the funds available, therefore it is important to apply early. It is also important to comply with Financial Aid Office requests for information on a timely basis.
