Master Promissory Note

If you have completed a loan application and received a revised award letter, you need to sign your Master Promissory Note unless you have already done so.

Students are required to sign a Master Promissory Note (MPN) with their lender. The Master Promissory Note is your binding agreement to repay your Stafford Loans. The Master Promissory Note can last up to 10 years and does not have to be done more than once as long as you use the same lender. Make sure to keep a copy of your MPN for your records.
