| UCCS is currently beginning a planning process to identify potential Transportation Demand Management, TDM, strategies for the campus. A TDM workshop with Spenser Havlick, co-author of Transportation and Sustainable Campus Communities, took place February 13, 2007. This workshop included a broad group from the UCCS community as well as representatives of Colorado City transit planners, bike shop owners, and public transportation. The focus of this workshop is to reduce single occupancy vehicle use, improve intra-campus mobility, and create a more pedestrian friendly campus. Two presentations from the workshop are available as well as a TDM introduction by Spenser Havlick | |
