If you want a Masters degree with licensure or
simply a Masters degree in Special Education to
teach students in K-12 levels or work with individuals
with disabilities in adult settings, this Masters
Degree Program in Special Education is for you. This 54
semester hours program emphasizes a non-categorical
approach to instruction and provides eligibility for
licensure and endorsement in three areas: Moderate Needs,
Severe Needs, and Affective Needs.
After completing a
specified 33 of the 54 semester hours, you will receive a
Masters degree. Field experience is offered to better
prepare you for the professional role of a special
education teacher.
Completion of the remaining hours,
which includes supervised field work, will make you
eligible for licensure and endorsement.
