If you are looking to improve your leadership skills, this Master’s Degree in Leadership is for you. This program satisfies the requirements of the Colorado Department of Education and the NCATE Curriculum Guidelines for the preparation of school leaders.

This program will help you develop as a leader by expanding your view about yourself and the world. This is done by obtaining school management competencies and leadership strategies, learning guiding tools for integration of recommendations from the school community, and exploring political and social implications of schooling in your educational community.

The program is based on the belief that school leaders should model integrity, demonstrate respect for the dignity and worth of all individuals within a diverse society, promote effective instructional practices, challenge others toward continuous improvement of school programs, and create a successful learning community.

This program is a total of 30 semester hours.

Admissions will show you what you need to do to be accepted into this program and what to do to start the admission process.

Advice will show you what core classes you need to take, what classes are available now, and what tests you will be required to take during the program. Advising is extremely important.
