| Waiting to be
Accepted |
You can expect to
hear about your acceptance into the program
during spring break or after, although this is
not a steadfast rule. Once accepted, you should
talk with an advisor to plan your program. |
|
 |
| Provisional basis |
Being accepted on
provisional basis means that you have not yet
taken the Basic Skills portion of the PLACE test.
Once you have completed this, you can start your
student teaching and be fully admitted into the
School of Education. |
|
| Not Accepted |
If you are not
accepted into this program, you should make an
appointment with an advisor by calling (719)
262-4996 to review the reason for non acceptance
and the strengths needed before applying again.
You can also request that your file be held until
next year. |

| Checklists:

|
Here
are two checklists.
The First
Checklist will help you
know what you need to have and what you need to
get started on to be accepted into the TEP
Program. This list will help you be a better
candidate for acceptance.
The Second Checklist will help you through the actual
admissions process.
