Miller Analogies Test (M.A.T.)

www.MillerAnalogies.com

The MAT is a high-level test of analytical ability that requires the solution of problems stated as analogies. The MAT consists of 120 partial analogies that you have 60 minutes to complete. The test measures your ability to recognize relationship between ideas, your fluency in the English language, and your general knowledge of the humanities, natural sciences, mathematics, and social sciences.

The MAT is a requirement for some graduate programs and used primarily at UCCS for entrance into the Graduate School of Education. For MAT Practice Tests go to http://www.matexampracticetests.com/

Exam Dates: The MAT is administered the first Saturday of each month. If the first Saturday happens to fall on a holiday weekend testing will be rescheduled for the following Saturday. Also, if the testing center does not have at least three individuals scheduled for testing, testing will be canceled until the following month.  The Testing Center may also change the dates if there is a conflict with other testing.
