Active Research

The following research projects are currently in the works.

RefSTATS and InSTATS

These are custom, dynamic, database-driven web applications for managing usage of library services and instruction. Both constructed of PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript.

Fair Use and Electronic Reserves

I am exploring the policies that academic libraries at medium/large colleges and universities utilize when interpreting fair use in electronic reserves. This project involves analyzing and a massive amount of data collected online and from surveys.

Kraemer Family Library Intranet

The intranet is built using the open-source applications Wordpress and Mediawiki. Commercial hosting is used to give the Library access to necessary technology not available via campus IT.
