ResearchThe mission of the Center for Space Studies is to conduct leading-edge basic and applied research, develop outreach environments that nourish space technology discoveries, and provide advanced education. In support of the mission, the Center aligns its activities into three principal, interdependent pillars that support the Strategic Plan. These three pillars are Research, Outreach, and Education. The Research Pillar includes the academic and basic research elements critical to long-term space/security strategies.
