Think your home is your castle?
Think your property rights are secure?
Think the Gulf of Aden is the last place on Earth where pirates still roam?
Then you obviously haven't read "Government Pirates: The Assault on Private Property Rights and How We Can Fight It," whose author, Don Corace, will be guest of honor at our next Woodford Foundation luncheon: 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 17, at The Cheyenne Mountain Conference Resort. We meet in Remington's II, a private room just off the east end of the main dining area. The buffet lunch is free.
Now out in paperback, "Government Pirates" generated good reviews and a lot of buzz - so much so, in fact, that Corace recently launched a radio show. Property rights are always a hot topic, and they've become even hotter since the infamous Kelo ruling, so this book was sure to strike a nerve. It even mentions the Preble's meadow jumping mouse debacle.
Reserve your seats now by e-mail (
sean@limitedgovforum.org ) or phone (719-576-9055). We'll give out signed books as door prizes. Bringing guests and passing along this invitation is encouraged, though I need to be notified in advance in order to provide an accurate head count.
Looking forward to seeing you Dec. 17.
