I would like to remind you to register for the Free People Free Markets seminar, January 13, 2009. I would also like to invite you to another informational luncheon on January 16, 2009, hosted by The Woodford Foundation and Limited Government Forum. The keynote speaker is Dr. Rob Roy Ramey, the conservation geneticist, whose position on the Preble's Meadow Jumping Mouse caused quite a stir.

It is always surprising to me that people seem to have such high expectations of the U.S. Congress when poll after poll shows that they give very low ratings to this body when they are asked to evaluate its work.
