 PURPOSE & POLICY

PURPOSE

The Council of Professional Geropsychology Training Programs (CoPGTP, pronounced COG-TIP) is a new organization of programs providing training at the competence level and beyond. CoPGTP is committed to the promotion of excellence in training in professional geropsychology and to supporting the development of high quality training programs in professional geropsychology at the graduate school, internship, postdoctoral fellowship, and post-licensure levels. CoPGTP provides opportunities to continue the dialogue on training issues; and it will be comprised of organizations and individuals with common interests.

POLICY

For any type of awards or contracts, COPGTP does not pay any administrative or indirect costs.

Because CoPGTP does not operate, supervise, or exercise any control over program consultation services provided by its members, it makes no representations or warranty whatsoever, either express or implied, regarding any information or advice that is provided. In no event shall CoPGTP be liable to you or anyone else for any decision or action taken in reliance on consultation provided to you.
