Psychological Evaluation
University Counseling Center Trainees receive training in the evaluation of
emotional and social difficulties and disorders in UCCS students that may be
interfering with their academic success. The UCC is in the process of including
routine psychological testing as part of the intake process, which will involve
screening tests to help identify clients contending with psychological
disorders. In addition, clinicians carry out evaluations for suicide/homicide
related safety concerns. The UCC has a psychologist on staff to evaluate
addiction-related referrals on campus.
