Dr. David Fenell, chair of last year's ACA Special Committee on Military and Veterans Affairs, will co-lead a webinar discussion titled Treating Returning Servicemembers: Are Mental Health Professionals Ready?
He will be joined by Dr. Will Wilson, president of the American Psychological Association's Society for Military Psychology. The webinar is being hosted by Capella University.
The discussion will be webcast live on October 13 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., Eastern Time.

The 4th annual Culturally Responsive Teaching, Leadership, and Counselling Symposium is set to take place on Saturday, January 24, 2009 at UCCS. This year the theme is "From Innovation to Action."
The College of Education at UCCS, led by Dean La Vonne Neal, would like to invite you to a K-12 symposium developed for local teachers, counselors, and administrators. Come and interact with national experts in the areas of culturally responsive teaching, leadership, and counseling.
Speakers will share instructional strategies and currcula specifically designed to meet the needs of all students, particularly students from diverse cultural backgrounds, students receiving special education services, and students of color.
