College of Education
The Department of Special Education seeks individuals who have a deep commitment to learners with special needs.
Students may enroll on a full-time or part-time basis, and may begin taking courses in the fall, spring, or summer semester.
Students may complete up to nine (9) special education credits without being formally accepted into a Special Education program.

After your application documents are received, we will call to schedule a personal
interview.
Admission Criteria
- Grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.5 (undergraduate) or 2.75 (graduate)
- Experience with individuals with disabilities
- Letters of recommendation from academic or professional sources
- Written communication skills
- Personal interview
