Yeungjin College Summer Program
In collaboration with the Colleges of Business and Engineering, the UCCS College of Education hosts students from our partner school, Yeungjin College in Daegu, South Korea each summer. The purpose of the visit is to provide practical and hands-on knowledge of the English language as used in the engineering and business environments in the United States.
During their professional development training here in Colorado, the students will spend time with executives from corporations and with UCCS faculty to focus on the latest trends and cutting-edge practices in the business and engineering fields. This program will take the students out of the classroom and into the work place so that language learned at the university level can be applied in the work setting.
UCCS, located on Austin Bluffs Parkway in northeast Colorado Springs, is the fastest growing university in Colorado, and one of the fastest growing universities in the nation. The University offers 29 bachelor’s degrees, 18 masters’, and four doctoral degrees. The campus enrolls about 7,600 students annually.
