Course: Travel to Mexico
This 4 credit course consists of a 7-day trip to the city of Oaxaca in southern Mexico with the primary objective being a greater understanding of true Mexican culture. This lovely colonial town is also home to many of Mexico’s indigenous peoples.
It is a place of fascinating contrasts: amazing beauty and extreme poverty.
There will also be a focus on the education structure in Mexico, allowing for discussions related to the issue of Mexican immigration in the United States.
