Congratulations to Drs. Cheesman, Crawford, and De Pry of the Department of Special Education
for their recent publications in the 3rd Edition of the Encyclopedia of Special Education. The
Encyclopedia of Special Education is a 3 volume, 2100 page work that is considered to be the
preeminent reference work in field of special education and is found in libraries around the
world. Dr. De Pry also served as a contributing editor for the encyclopedia editing over 100
entries on topics such as applied behavior analysis, positive behavior support, and emotional and

Exceptional Children's Annual Convention April 18-21, 2007.
Larry Bryant, assistant professor, Education, will present “Tryin’ to Catch Me

Associates presented a paper at the Sixth Annual International Conference on Diversity in
Organizations, Communities, and Nations, June 12-15, 2006, in New Orleans, Louisiana. The
paper, entitled "Cultural Competence and Conflict Resolution in School Reform:
Observations from the West Bank" has been submitted for publication to The International
Journal of Diversity in Organisatons, Communities and Nations.
