Joseph Wehrman, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Counseling and Human Services at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.
Dr. Wehrman has a wide variety of experiences working in early childhood, community mental health, residential life, and higher education. Dr. Wehrman has extensive experience counseling children and families facing a host of life challenges. He also has vast experience providing humanitarian assistance. He is a former medical service officer and has provided aid in counties such as Honduras, Iraq, Kuwait, and Sri Lanka.
Dr. Wehrman’s research interests include technology and counseling and counseling children and families. He received the 2005 Board of Regents E-Learning Awards for Best Overall Course and Best Distance Delivery Network Course.
