Ms. Mc Guinness has a wide variety of experiences. She worked as a business manager for 25 years before her career in counseling and continues a small private counseling practice. This wealth of experience plays well in the classroom and in her interactions with supervising counselors. One of the main focuses of her classes is to prepare students for real world experiences.
Ms. Mc Guinness’ research interests include using technology in education, the impact of racial identity development on academic achievement, and counselor supervision.
