Clint Fisher taught middle school science and technology for seven years at three middle schools in New Mexico before completing his Ph.D. During his first three years at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs Clint immersed himself in the culture of teaching and learning. His teaching has focused on coursework in
Clint has worked individually with students in independent study courses and supervised field-based teacher candidates.
Clint Fisher's is a strong advocate for using technology to enhance and extend teaching and learning in the K-16 environment. His teaching changes to reflect on the feedback from learners and peers. It is a very dynamic process and is in constant change, just as what is happening with technology. Clint stays constantly connected to the pulse of his learners as well as immersed in the literature of the professional community. As a teacher, service comes naturally to Clint and creates a conduit to the communities that he dwells in as a professional educator. It is important to develop connections to local, state and national communities of educators. Service is very important and keeps Clint grounded within these communities.

This course provides early school experience for potential teachers in public school
classrooms.

Secondary Field Experience (undergraduate and graduate)
This course is the pre-student teaching experience in the fall semester where the
students spend 8 weeks at a PDS middle school and 8 weeks in a PDS high school site
observing, co-teaching, and teaching.

Clint Fisher is currently working on an article discussing the literature in this area of curriculum development. He is excited to spread his wings and contribute to this new area of research. To date, Clint has worked on the curriculum development for Freedom's Song: One Hundred Years of African American Struggle and Triumph, a K-12 curriculum / documentary celebrating a century of African American history.
