Online CURR MA

Complete your Master's Degree in a convenient online format without interrupting your career! Have you ever considered completing your MA, but couldn't quite manage the schedule of on-campus classes? This degree is completely online, allowing you to attend class and study when you have time. There are no required sessions on campus so the degree can be completed from anywhere in the state, the country or overseas.

Online CURR MA and Alternative Licensure

The ALP is a one-year intensive program that leads to recommendation for Colorado provisional licensure. The program has its own complete admission process beyond the admission requirements of the University. The Alternative Licensure Program seeks self-motivated, committed, resourceful individuals who can readily assume teaching roles in a public school classroom. Examples are para-professionals, substitute teachers, career change individuals, retired military or those who have the background and potential for successfully completing this rigorous, fast-paced program.

Online Principal Licensure and MA Leadership

The College of Education at UCCS is pleased to offer the Online Principal Licensure/Master's Degree in Leadership in Education (P-12 education). Students may begin the program at any semester!

Online SPED MA and Added Endorsement

The online Special Education Generalist: An Added Endorsement & the MA Special Education are designed for students who already hold a teaching license in another area of education (for example, elementary or secondary teachers wanting to earn a Master of Arts Degree in Special Education).

Online Gifted and Talented Endorsement and MA Program

This 26 credit-hour endorsement prepares teachers at all levels to enhance their teaching methodologies in Gifted & Talented education. The endorsement will require 3 credit hours of practicum work. The UCCS Gifted and Talented program is now endorsed by the Colorado State Department of Education!

Online MA TESOL/CLDE Endorsement

The Culturally & Linguistically Diverse Education (CLDE) Program (formerly known as ESL) is designed especially for monolingual English speaking teachers, paraprofessionals and pre-service teachers who have English Language Learners (ELLs) in their classrooms, and want to know how to better serve those students. Educators working with individual, small groups or whole classes of ELLs will benefit from this Program.

Online Instructional Technology Certificate

This certificate prepares teachers at all levels to use technology to enhance their teaching methodologies and reach the next generation of learners, who expect to learn using technology. The program consists of 12 credit hours, all of which are offered online. All courses are offered in a convenient online format and will transfer into our Online Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
