Kyla Hammond, Ph. D., Executive Director, Enrollment Operations and Extended Studies
Dr. Kyla Hammond has 14 years’ experience in education, serving as an English instructor, professional development coordinator, and higher education administrator. She is currently Executive Director of Enrollment Management and Extended Studies for the College of Education at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.
She oversees extended studies and online education, all enrollment operations, and has recently created a new Office of Global Education. Her areas of expertise are implementing entrepreneurial models in higher education, enrollment management, strategic planning, personnel motivation, organizational leadership, and Global education.
Carla Rupprecht, Program Coordinator, Extended Studies
Carla Rupprecht is a person that strongly supports multiculturalism in all forms. She completed an undergraduate degree of Anthropology at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, and is now pursuing a Masters in Public Administration. As a student on the campus, Carla was heavily involved in diversity initiatives around the campus. During her years working in Extended Studies, she has had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of programs and educational needs around the country, and also organizing several diversity events for the College of Education.
Carla is dedicated to expanding the programs and initiatives that are global in perspective, with the idea of having a globally linked economy, the more interaction between global people, the richer our cultures become.
